My name is Carmen Amador
Bilingual, versatile, and resourceful teaching and learning specialist wih more than thirty five years of experience in curriculum development and the implementation of learning strategies in both eLearning and instructor-led settings. Exemplary leadership skills coupled with strong communication skills. Known for building lasting collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with a goal to exceed expectations and create meaningful learning experiences for staff, students, and families.
Proven expertise in grant writing, project management, and multimedia-development with the goal of establishing educational partnerships with institutions of higher education and community based organizations with the vision of successful outcomes and opportunities for all. Educational leader forever driven by passion and perseverance since being recruited by the NYCDOE from Puerto Rico to teach diverse student populations.
